Proper Steps for Using an Interdental Brush
Choose the Right Size: Select a brush head size that slides into the gap between your teeth easily and without resistance; never force it. If it won't fit, switch to a smaller size; forcing it in can damage your gums and widen the gap between your teeth.
Insert Gently: Do not forcefully jab the brush in from the gum line. Instead, insert it gently at an angle from the occlusal surface (the biting surface) of the teeth; strictly avoid poking it vertically down into the gums.
Clean with Gentle Strokes: Once inserted, move the Interdental brush back and forth gently in short strokes 3 to 5 times to dislodge and remove food debris. Do not twist the brush forcefully or poke around haphazardly.
Clean Every Gap: Clean every interdental space, but avoid reusing a dirty section of the brush head. After cleaning one gap, rinse the brush thoroughly before moving on to the next. Discard the brush and replace it if the bristles become bent or deformed.
Follow a Routine: To ensure you don't miss any spots or clean the same area twice, we recommend following a specific sequence: start with the back teeth on the left side, move to the front teeth, and finish with the back teeth on the right side.
Rinse to Finish: Finally, rinse your mouth to wash away the dislodged bacteria and debris. You are done!
